Every year I meet a lot of people who dream of starting a dog training business. There are many reasons someone would choose to hang up a shingle and become a professional dog trainer. Perhaps a career change is appealing because their current career is leading to burnout, or is becoming a dead-end. Maybe the thought of being your own boss and the freedom that brings is inviting. Or, perhaps a love for dogs and clicker training is so strong that it leads someone to devote his or her life to improving the relationships people have with their pets.
