It can even be scary but most often it’s frustrating because you don’t know what to do or how to change it. Many of us want to deal with our dog’s behavior but don’t have time for classes…we need to be at work or spend time with our family.

We train your dog for you, in your home and your neigh­bor­hood, letting you get on with the things that are more important right now.  Every week, we have a ses­sion together and you learn to main­tain your dog’s new, improved behaviour.

 It’s the fastest way to a well-behaved dog.

Day training works because:

We provide fre­quent ses­sions.  Dog train­ing, like any training, is most effec­tive when ses­sions happen frequently. It’s like get­ting in shape. Going to the gym once a week makes little difference. 

Training happens in YOUR home.   Nine times out of ten, behavior that happens at home or in the neighbourhood is what dog own­ers need most.

We provide an expert trainer. A professional trainer gets better results faster because we understand canines and the science of animal training.

We use pos­i­tive reinforcement. Pos­i­tive rein­force­ment train­ing is science based and fast, effec­tive, and humane. Force, pain or intim­i­da­tion are not necessary to train any animal.

· Behav­iour Prob­lems such as bark­ing, overexcitement, too much energy, shy­ness, mild anxiety

How does it work?

 Ini­tial Con­sul­ta­tion  We assess your dog and,. with you, estab­lish your train­ing goals. We then design a train­ing pro­gram to meet those goals. This usually takes 90 minutes. The cost is $100

We train your dog for 3 to 4 weeks We come into your home 3 times a week for 3 to 4 weeks. Most typical behavior problems can be addressed in this time.  In addition, we meet with you once a week to show you  how to main­tain your dog’s new, improved behaviour. Cost is determined on a case by case basis.

Private lessons can be scheduled at YOUR convenience in YOUR home and we work on YOUR issues.

You can register for just one private lesson or sign up for a series of 3 or 5 at a reduced rate...whatever is most convenient for you.
